How do I resize a movie window on mac, when the movie exceeds the bounds of the screen? On windows I am able to resize then windows from any side, but on mac I can only resize the window in the lower right corner, which is impossible to do if the video exceeds the visible boundary of the screen? Any ways to get around this other than recoding the video or use Windows?

All the best,
Lars

Lars,

On a Mac, and it assumes that you have the latest version of CLAN, you can click with a mouse on the green '+' button in the top left corner of the window frame. This will make window 1/4 of the original size. If you click that button again it will make window 1.2 size and with another click the normal size. At any point after fist click you can drag window's bottom right corner to make it any size you want.

Ok, i don't get that behavior on mine, so maybe there's something with my installation. I'll try to reinstall.

Best,
Lars

Lars,

There is a limit on how small movie window can be. So, if the movie window is already small, then clicking on green button will not have any effect.

The other problem may be that normal window size might be more than four times bigger than the small laptop computer screen size. In this case the 1/4 window still will not fit on the screen. We recommand that movie windows are about 960x540.

Leonid~
