Is there a way to calculate FREQ or MLU in a 5 minutes segment from a video transcription of 10 minutes long?

I can't think of any way to do it. Maybe someone else can. The problem is that timing information on each utterance covers the whole utterance, so if 5 minutes falls in the middle of the utterance there is no way to identify exactly 5 minutes worth of words.
