Hello everyone!
I need to run the VOCD on many files (more than 2500). When the response comes out I see the word "pooled" instead of the name of each file. Anyone know what might be happening?
Thank you very much!

Vivi,

"pooled" means that +u option was used with VOCD. This means that all results were merges into one output.

If you did not use +u option, then I need to replicate this to see what went wrong. Please let me know which computer and system you are using, i.e. Mac or Windows PC, macOS 13.2 or windows10.

Leonid.

Hi Leonid,
Thanks for replying! I'm using the following command: vocd +t*chi -t%mor +d3 +f" VOCD" @
I use macOS 10.13.6.
Thanks again,
Vivi

Hi Vivi,

Are you using CLAN or CLANc on your Mac?

Leonid.

Hi Vivi,

Your CLAN is very old. It probably has a bug in it. We encourage people to download the latest CLANc from https://dali.talkbank.org/clan/. Is there a reason why you want to use an older version of CLAN?

I just tried to run your command using latest CLANc (V 24-Feb-2023) on 280 files and all filenames were present in the output spreadsheet. It is also possible that there is something in one of your data files that triggers a bug. Please, try the latest CLANc and if you still have problem, then I would need your data files for testing. Please, email to me directly at spe...@andrew.cmu.edu.

Hi Vivi,

It appears there was a bug in VOCD when data files do not have @ID header. I have fixed this. Please download and install today's version of CLANc and let me know if it works for you now.
