Dependent Tier Reliability

Hello, 

I am currently struggling to run a rely command on two transcripts dependent tiers. I would like to calculate a reliability percentage but am receiving error messages when I do such. If anyone could provide me a command to figure out the reliability percentage on ONLY the dependent tier of transcripts I would be much appreciative.

Hi,

Without knowing what error message you are getting or having the command line and your data file to test. I can't give you any help. I can suggest to read CLAN manual at URL https://talkbank.org/manuals/CLAN.pdf. In particular chapter 7.21 RELY starting on page 106.

Hi Leonid, 

Thanks for your quick reply! 

I have spent a lot of time in section 7.21. What I got from that section is that I should be inputting the command > rely  @ +d-t*+%esa however, when I run the command I receive the message... "Total categories value for Kappa calculation has to be greater than 0."

You command line is missing space characters. It should be: rely @ +d -t* +t%esa
