Hello, currently in our study we are using 2 sec bullets to code parent child interactions. Sometimes a child utterance extends past 2 seconds onto the next bullet and I would like to extend the first bullet to be able to encompass the whole utterance onto one bullet. Is there a way to extend bullet lengths of certain bullets while also changing all the other bullets that follow? For example,

[=1] 16997_18996                         [=1] 16997_20996
[=2] 18996_20996           --->        [=2]  20996_22996
[=3] 20996_22996                         [=3] 22996_24996

Dear ChiBolts,

Although this email wasn’t signed, I am guessing that it came from someone whose name is close to See.Gajardo, perhaps Sebastian Gajardo?

In any case, CLAN’s FIXBULLETS program is capable of changing all time values in bullets throughout a file by a fixed amount.  However, it is not designed to do this by starting at some particular line number in a file.  So, to use it for this, you would have to break out your file into front and back.

Of course, you could achieve some of the effect hear by just enlarging the time for the longer utterance into the area for the following utterance.
