Issues with adding bullets on windows

Hi again,

I have another question on adding bullets on CLAN in windows. When I add bullets to an existing chat file, a new audio file with the same name in .wav format will be created. So, if the file name is elnaz.cha and the linking audio file is elnaz.mp3, a new file, called elnaz.wav will be added. Why is that? How can I fix this issue?

Windows PC has problem playing MP3 files precisely, i.e. starting and ending playback exactly when the bullet time dictates. This does not occur with all MP3 files, but it seems to be impossible to determine which MP3 files will have that problem and which will not. It is a common problem, because MP3 file are heavily compressed. So, CLAN on PC will first convert MP3 file to WAVE file. After that first conversion CLAN will be using uncompressed WAVE files for linking and playback. This is not something you can fix or change.
