Dear all,

I want to know the number of utterances for the target child speaker and for all adult speakers per transcript in a longitudinal corpus. Is there any command that gives out these information in a spreadsheet with the speakers in columns and the number of utterances per transcript in rows? I tried out the mlu command for the child and added the +d2 spreadsheet option:
mlu +t*CHI -t%mor +d2 @ (-t%mor since there is no %mor tier in the data),
but unfortunately the output spreadsheet only displays the number of words per utterance and all utterances in rows, but no information on the number of utterances per transcript.

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

Try command:

 mlt +d +t*CHI -t%mor

Leonid.
