MOR Grammar eng

Hello, 

I've just downloaded the latest version of CLAN (25-MAR-2019) along with the MOR eng grammar for this version. However, when running MOR with my data I get this error message: File "C:\Users\Katrina\Desktop\MOR\eng\prepost.cut": line 2.

"to" string does not match any "from" choices.

Any ideas why this is, and how to fix it?

Dear Katrina,

Sorry about this.  That particular line in prepost requires a version of CLAN that Leonid has not yet posted to the web.  Until he decides to post it, you will need to remove the first three lines of the prepost.cut file or else rename it.  Hopefully, Leonid will be able to update the CLAN on the web later today, so that this problem will not recur.

Dear Brian,

Many thanks for your quick response, deleting the first three lines of the prepost.cut file has solved the problem. 

I'm also a bit stuck with another issue. I'm trying to get a measure of vocabulary sophistication (i.e., the number of rare words) for adults. This code had been working perfectly for a few months now to exclude all |co words, babbling, and my list of exclude words. 

FREQ @ +t*ADT +sm;*,o% -sm"|co,|bab" -s@ex_m.cut +d2

However, over the last few days I now get this error message "Multi-words are not allowed with option: -s Multi-words are search patterns with space character(s) in-between. If you did not mean to have space characters in-between words, then please remove space characters and try again."

When I remove the space character before  -s@ex_m.cut, CLAN no longer excludes the words from this file, it is as though the -s@ex_m.cut part of the command is not read by CLAN. 

Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

The message refers to the words you specified in the ex_m.cut file. Also, those words have to be in %mor tier format the same format as +sm"...." options.
