The Grapevine guidelines attempt to avoid in-box clutter by repetitious postings.  The guidelines also try to avoid opinion pieces, especially when they have the potential to become controversial (i.e. Save the Amp vs Rebuild the Amp is a great example).  These guidelines  help avoid inbox clutter and  turning the GV into a battleground.  

Someone recently asked what is the CHQ News.  This was an inquiry not unlike many make about other matters  (i.e. when is the Brick Care open).  We posted some replies to the GV community stating the CHQ News is a humorous parody/satire about CHQ.  We also posted a differing explanation that found it offensive.  To avoid turning the subject into a battleground and distraction from the mission of the Grapevine, and to avoid inbox clutter of ongoing messages on the same subject, we respectfully ask members to refrain from further commentary and appreciate your understanding.
