Not specific to Chapel hall, although may help direct people to the village (??), but forwarding to this email group for info.
Basically I put in a report to amey last month regarding the signage, or lack of, to Chapel of Garioch off the A96 & have just received the following email.
So fingers crossed, we will finally get some new signs... yay

Dear Ms Tribe
Further to your enquiry regarding the signs opposite the junction to Chapel of Garioch
I have spoken to our operations team who have advised that they are awaiting a design for the poles at this location due to the existing public utilities in that area. I can advise that there have been mistakes internally which have caused a lot of the delays to the works and I can only apologise for things not progressed as they should.
We are working with those teams to help expedite these issues and hope that we can have these signs re-erected soon.
Again please accept our apologise for the delay
Regards
Ralph Newlands

| Details | Report a problem form was completed with the following details: Route A96 / A90 Location A96T C120C at Drimmies Inverurie Direction of travel N & W Please describe the problem Replacement signs required as have been missing for months Please add more detail about the problem The signs for Chapel of Garioch are missing on the left (heading north) before the junction at Drimmies and also on the right, opposite the Drimmies junction (having been knocked down in accidents) and the reflective verge road posts do not clearly indicate the junction . Whilst I live in Chapel & know where the turn off is it’s still pretty hard to judge it so feel for anyone travelling there that doesn’t know it. It could be very dangerous. Appreciate if this could be fixed as soon as possible If possible, please upload an image Please provide your name Samantha Tribe Address (not mandatory)
