Hey,
Wich codec are u using for sip ?
Are u using G729 ?
And could u give us the exact reference of ur cpu ?
Because if it's the case your cpu can't handle all those call (50 simultaneous call).
Best regards
I can't make it work for incomming and outgoing calls....
But the asterisk detects the usb...
Its on modem mode as i have switched it using mode switch...
I think what i lack is proper configuration for dialplan and dongle.conf
Also when i try to call outside.... The dongle state turns to dialing and stays like that forever unless i restart asterisk., can you guide me? Thanks
Hey,
Try to disable your iptables.
/etc/init.d/iptables stop
In the extensions.conf
Use dial without r or m
Dial(dongle1/num,40).
If your pc is under a nat
You have to change your your sip file.
sip.conf
nat=yes
externip=your wan ip
And restart asterisk and try again ;)
Good luck.
Of course I'm using an external powered usb hub.
So the problem is not from power.
And also check for the tempure issue in USB HUB chip set. When call flow is high this chip became very hot and get reset and all call for that HUB droped.
During a 2g call one dongle require around 0.25A current, so for 10 dongle you will requier atlist 2.5A. So please check your external power supply can handle that much of current.

I noticed that one way of the voice is missing i think that the problem is from asterisk not from the dongle.
So could you advice me .

What make/model of USB hub are you using ?Have managed to get 4 E153's (original Huawei) running with a D-Link power USB2.0 hub, but adding a 5th dongle seems to make things unstable. Changed the power adapter with a 3.0Amps one and problem wasn't resolved.
