Notes: My first time seeing Alan after Mimi's passing. I felt overjoyed to see him playing with his two kids alongside him (Hollis and Cyrus). I look forward to see what his new material develops into, and seeing him many more years on the road. This is a very good recording IMO. It was sort of a cold open with Liquid Love, and I don't think either the tech team or the audience knew the show was underway, so you'll hear more background chatter on this one than the rest of the show. There were a couple of songs where he used a vocoder that are new on this tour, with the working titles of Get Still and Heaven. Unfortunately, production was running late so they told them to rush off the stage before they started the last song.

I asked the taper, but he's unsure if Alan allows his solo efforts. Does anyone know?
perhaps a new entry needs to be created ...

The band was very pro-taper, but not sure if Al has continued that policy.

the taper notified me that Alan has given permission via twitter, so it will come soon on Archive.org.
In the meantime, in case you're interested, here's the recording of the main set Godspeed You Black Emperor. Three new songs of which  two are very good (to my ears):

Just downloaded it and I love it. I really hope he tours the West Coast when he is ready. He's always been so friendly to me after shows, even saying he remembers me from past Low and RGC shows (I doubt that's true...). I just would love to see him again and chat with him. It's been too long. He sounds good!

Login to Dime and see if you're still a GUEST user (top right of screen). 

You have to email the mods at dime...@dimeadozen.org and request a promotion to Power User to be able to download the torrents.
