LCA Intro to ICT

Is anyone teaching the new Intro to ICT spec this year? Would anyone be interested in some shared planning etc?

Hey Paul

Yes mate i would like to share up.

I went on a 2 day PDST on this course on the hope for clarity on delivererable, exemplar work for ideas on level of acceptance/excellence.

Alas nothing came.

I have zero problem with the LO or Key Assignments but the pace and potential to keep it engaging and fun worry me slightly. I had an idea to set the pupils business scenarios (ie set up run a company/organise a music festival) and swap the Modules - build al logo (Module 2 Graphics unit) use calculate budget, forecast income, profit & loss (Module 2 Spreadsheet unit) then build PR materials (Letters, business cards, posters - inc logo ) Module 1  Word processing.

This idea wasn't well received mind.
