Debunking myths re CS and women

Hi

I've been asked for references to research done around females and CS, myths about their capacities for CS and debunking them.  If anyone can help, perhaps you can post on this thread.

Hi Adrienne,

   I hope this helps, this was a study in 11 universities and IOT’s (10 of which were in Ireland), and has some very positive findings addressing such myths in introductory CS courses.

Hi Adrienne,

I think that Grace Lawlor has done / is doing research in this area in Ireland through TCD.
Brendan Tangney would be a good contact for this question.
