Using Chromebooks for exams

Anyone cracked the egg - how to use Chromebooks as either kiosk or managed guest for exams that can then be printed or saved to USB without compromising integrity of exams (ie no access to Drive etc)

Not interested in speculative suggestions but would like to know if others have done this already successfully.

Right now I am looking at an app called Shiny! Shiny! ...

In case anyone is interested I have a workable solution for dealing with students who require use of computer for exams - for those who have Chromebooks and are operating in a Google Workspace environment.

The only drawback is lack of Spell Check in the Shiny! Shiny! text processor app.

This approach will work for State Exams too for any student who does not have a spelling/grammar waiver.

Update: very likely to be spell-check support in Q1 2022. 

In the meantime it is worth getting familiar with Shiny! Shiny!...

Much appreciated Greg! This will make prepping tech for exams very straightforward for those schools that have Chromebooks.
