LCVP Portfolio

Hi all, Quick query we are a Google school who have recently offered LCVP again. Previously it was done through Word. The LCVP teacher came to me today to say that the students had to use word. Is this true? I can't find it stated anywhere.

Hi Rickie,

I am not familiar with LCVP, but if Word docs are required, can your students not just download their Google Doc as a Word docx file?

Dear Rickie

We are a google school. I am not an LCVP teacher but we were consulting with another google school last term (Athy College) and this topic came up.  It is not legal for any specific format to be specified.  

In the specs for LCVP for the CV this is the text - "compile and create a curriculum vitae in word processed format" - no application is specified.

Attached is the statement.  no mention of application but this is not my area of expertise

Can I jump on this thread - kinda similar question - for LCA ICT exam can they use the gsuite app - i.e. google docs, sheets etc for practical exam? Anyone here Google school and using the cloud based version?
