I have used text to speech, especially Texthelp over the years indeed I started using it way back in 2002 - 2003.

I used it through my masters

And as a teacher with my learners, if you would like to contact me, I can give you whatever I know. I am not a literacy teacher however.

I have dyslexia and ADHD so know the benefit benefits of such technology.
