How to find years of diabetic for patient

Hi,

I want to fetch the patient having diabetic from(year) to calculate how many years the patient is having diabetic. Which API I have to call and is there any code(SNOMED) for diabetes.

Hello,

You can use Condition resource to get details about problems and diagnosis for any specific patient. Within Condition Resource, there is this field called 'onsetDateTime' which gives you information about, from when did the patient has this problem/diagnosis. There are multiple SNOMED codes for diabetes with types and complications. Here is an example Condition Problem with id p73093477, which has a diabetic SNOMED code 73211009.
