ceres-solver 3.0 RC blockers?

Hi Sameer & the community.
What are the remaining blockers to cutting a 3.0 release candidate?  Anything that those of us in the community can help with?

I see some open bugs on documentation:

Are there others that need to happen before an RC?  Is it worth setting up a label to make a release hotlist?

Hi James,

Sorry for the late reply, I am traveling. Sergiu and I were planning on finishing these bugs up and making an RC, but then day jobs and real life took over for both of us.

There are mostly documentation things that need fixed, and we need help with testing the new features and the significant changes to the build system due to changes to the dependencies.

Sergiu and I plan to work on this in the new year and will appreciate any and all help in this direction.
