CO Woodworkers 12 August Mtg. 7-9 PM

Fellow Woodworkers,

Our 12 August meeting will be at Scott Denneson's shop at 64734 Sylvan Loop, Bend.  He is located East of Hwy. 97 off Deschutes Market Rd.  Follow the driveway pass the green house to the shop out back. Scott will be showing different jigs and templates.  Shop made helpers and tools that make our woodworking easier. Such as:

Unusual clamping setups

Sleds and jigs for stationary tools

Routing jigs

Sharpening jigs

Specialty planes and tools

Scott will also be showing a Thien Baffle that converts  his single stage dust collector into a two stage system.  He also has a DIY kiln made from an old refer.

We will be doing our usual intros and show and tell.  If you have a jig or shop helper you would like to share please bring it (or photos).  So come on out to learn and share with your fellow woodworkers.  I look forward to seeing you there, 7-9 PM!!!

Hey folks

Scott Denneson here. Actually I’ll show a Thien Baffle the I use to convert my single stage dust collector to a two stage and a DIY kiln i use to dry wood and rough turned bowls. The topic is “ things/tools/jigs we make to make woodworking work for us. Everybody has something they have made along the way to help get the job done. So bring something that you think we all would be interested in.
