Disappointing

I left a music event around 9:00 PM tonight, about 45 minutes from my house.  I was hoping to listen to the game on the radio on my way home until I could get home to see the rest of it on TV.

I was shocked that I went through every single AM & FM station possibility and I could not find one national or local broadcast of the game.  

I did get one one broadcast on AM and another one on FM for a soccer game.

A soccer game and NOT the NBA finals game??!!!

I finally gave in and listened to a talk radio program from WBAL (Baltimore) which was coming in loud and clear.  That showed that it was not a case of poor reception.  It was n indication of no broadcast.

During all this time I was a maximum of 20 minutes from Amherst, Massachuetts.

It's say that all the major networks made the calculations it was not worth the fee to carry the broadcast compared to the advertising revenue that it'd generate?
