CDAP 6.2.0 windows 10 using WSL Ubuntu - Analytics shows nothing , Enable Rules showing "Enabling failed Cannot find dre-service artifact"

Hi ,

I recently downloaded 6.2.0  and ran successfully  on WSL Ubuntu and i was able to pipleline / wrangler / metadata all good.

But When i got Rules and click on "Enable Rules". It throws me error "Enabling Failed , Cannot find dre-service artifact".

Also when i click on "Analytics", it just shows the animated loading bar and nothing happens.

I checked the /logs/cdap-debug.log  and cdap.log and there is nothing.

How can enable Rules and Analytics on my Sandbox.

By the way i love Field level lineage part, which is area of work ( Metadat Management)

The error message indicates that you'll need to deploy the dre-service artifact. You can get the artifact by building from https://github.com/cdap-solutions/dre.

The Analytics page doesn't load because the mmds artifact is not deployed. The UI should display a landing page with a meaningful error message - this is tracked by JIRA CDAP-16500.

Hi Prashat,

I have built the DRE as pointed out and build itself had an issue with Javasript excecution which i have fixed ( adding classpath) for dre-plugin.

It creates four artefacts ( dre-api, dre-core, dre-plugins, dre-service). as documented i try to upload the dre-service as Application and it gave me the following error

No application class found in artifact 'ArtifactId{name='dre-service', version=1.1.2, scope='USER'}' in namespace 'namespace:default'.

Same happens for dre-plugins also..

 Artifact artifact:default.dre-plugins.1.1.2 extends artifacts 'system:cdap-data-pipeline[5.1.0,6.0.0-SNAPSHOT)/system:cdap-data-streams[5.1.0,6.0.0-SNAPSHOT)' that do not exist

Plaase help.

This worked for me on 6.2.0 CDAP sandbox:

- Control Center -> Application -> Upload -> upload dre-service-1.3.1.jar

- Control Center -> Plugin -> Upload -> upload dre-plugins-1.3.1 jar and json

- Rules -> Enable Rules
