This might be slightly off topic but you might find it interesting.  When Tim posted the pics for Kraken I noticed Summerlee in the background of one and he sent me this picture.
Two of C&C's finest in the North Channel. These are C&C 51's, of which I've heard there were 9 built and 3 of them are in Gore Bay in the summer. Summerlee & Bliss here plus Adrenaline. On one of my first stops in Little Current I asked the dock hands what the nicest boat was that they see and the immediate answer was BLISS.  If anyone finds their 34+ a little cramped I'm sure one of these would fit the bill.  :-)

Cheers,
Tom S

Beautiful boats.  I put the picture in my C&C 51 folder.
Summerlee is a 51, but Bliss looks to me to be 34/36, but later boats were marketed as 36's.  I would guess she is a 36XL.
I hope someone can find out more about this boat as she's not on my list.  The windows on the two boats are definitely different.
Or maybe I'm wrong.  Please help?

Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck- Agreed on the two boats.  Definitely not the same.  I was intrigued and found a listing for the 51 and it definitely has the step down transom which the other boat in the picture does not have.  Strange forward cabin.  Seems quite small for a 51' boat and it was not clear to me what all the forward space was used for.  I expected a massive V berth cabin with walk around bed.  Dave

BLISS is definitely a 51. I saw her leave the C&C factory in 1995 during the period that our boat was being built.  She was stunning to see brand new back then, and I am sure she is still stunning now. Timeless design.

Could be two boats with the same name.  Zoom in on the photo and check the windows.  The Bliss in the photo looks awfully like a 34/36, not a 51.

Hey David,
That listing is interesting.  I saw they made two layouts and one offers the island berth in the aft cabin.  That boat is heavy and pricey.  And it's not the boat in the picture named Summerlee.
