Hi Blair,

I drove 2.5 hrs to my boat, stopping at a sailmaker to have a racing mainsail fixed.  I fixed the engine box panels on the boat and heated up a nice dinner of General Tso Chicken and rice.  While heating I had a little antipasto and a couple beers.  The sunset was beautiful and I'm watching Loggins and Messina on YouTube singing "Watching the River Run" and "Angry Eyes" and "Vahevala"

Sounds like a great day, Chuck!

We in SV Blue Heaven are wrapping up an epic summer that's taken us from Southern Puget Sound to Princess Louisa Inlet and Desolation Sound. Writing this from Port Browning as we contemplate re-entry to land life in a few more days.

A highlight was the West Coast C&C Rendezvous, and getting to know some of the other folks while we waited for a weather window to leave Thetis Island.

The only thing more epic than the voyage will be the growing winter work list: Cutlass bearing, fridge lid stay, VHF antenna, leaky windows, transmission, ...

We're looking forward to visiting the Annapolis Sailboat show next month.

Warm regards,

Richard L. Servance

Hey Richard,

That winter list sounds daunting.  I've done most of the those projects and they can be challenging.  Glad you will attend the Annapolis Show.  It's always a great event to learn and dream.  I usually gather all the brochures and catalogs I can carry and that entertains me through the winter months.  It was fun to meet you at the show in the past.  My wife said to say "Hi."  We won't make it this year.  We'll be boating in Holland and visiting places along the rivers and canals with friends.

Chuck
