I am looking to filter data on CBioPortal by the availability of patient timelines, i.e. longitudinal data on treatment. Is there such an option? Otherwise, in which datasets is this information available for a large number of samples?

Thank you,

Hi Dalit,

No studies immediately come to mind. At this time, it is not currently possible to search for studies based on clinical data fields in cBioPortal.

I would recommend selecting a broad cohort of studies that might be relevant to your research, opening them in a combined virtual study, and then reviewing all possible clinical data fields using the “Charts” drop down in the top right of the window. Not all studies will have all fields – those that don’t have that particular information will be labeled “NA.” You can use this method to identify studies with your specific type of clinical data and narrow to those for future analyses.

Best,
