Hello all,

In brief, I was wondering if it’s possible to include multiple differentiated OS and PFS start and stop dates per patient, or if someone can envision an easy workaround to doing so in cBioPortal?  The data for this is already abstracted and marked relative to different patient treatments.

Thanks,

Hi Aaron,

You can include any number of OS / PFS / DFS fields in a study. In our file formats description (https://docs.cbioportal.org/5.1-data-loading/data-loading/file-formats#clinical-data), there's a paragraph about survival plots:

Note on survival plots: to generate the survival plots successfully, the columns are required to be in pairs, which means the file should have a pair of columns that have the same prefix but ending with _STATUS and _MONTHS individually. For example, PFS_STATUS and PFS_MONTHS are a valid pair of columns that can generate the survival plots.

As an example - if you want to include OS from start of immunotherapy, you could have fields OS_IO_STATUS and OS_IO_MONTHS. In this way, you can include as many OS / PFS / other outcome measures as you would like.
