Dear Sharada
Responding on behalf of APSC. Over recent complaints received on unavailability of rooms for members and the lack of discipline of collecting advance charges of group classes held, the JLL team was instructed to adhere to existing SOPs which do not allow permanenent bookings to any one group to block a slot in perpetuity. They would have that option only once a month and could roll over only if someone else does was not in waiting for the same slot, so the JLL team is right in mentioning this to you.
However, this case arises only if someone else has requested a blocking of the same slot. If its not the case, there shouldnt be any problem in your status quo situation.
To be specific, we have received formal complaints and tabled at the APSC meeting that while certain groups enjoyed the privilege to block slots in perpetuity, others were not accorded the same option.
Please note, this is specific to only the dance room blocked for group classes which are booked in advance. The other 2 rooms (Meditation and Yoga) remain open for booking via mygate to all residents equally. Ofcourse, they are based on booking 2 days in advance (common to all amenities) and hence come with the risk of unavailability.
This means start of every month you can request for this slot and if there is no one else seeking the same spot, it would roll over.
Hope that clarifies.
