It looks like I have the same profurl on hull #50. There is a torx set screw underneath you can loosen and rotate the feeder to the other side. If you are boarding port side, moving it it to starboard might just solve that issue though. I would probably just swap the existing hardware to the other side and go sailing a few times to see what works and what doesn't.<IMG_4666.jpg><IMG_4663.jpg>

I re-routed my furling line to the outside with the Harken blocks and I really liked the improvement. I always backed into my marina slip so we got on and off via the transom and didn't have the tripping problem you mentioned, but moving the furling line outside made more deck space all the way along the deck and made it easier to step out from under the Bimini to go forward.
Also made it easier to stow my whisker pole
to the forward port stanchions when not in use.
I had a swiveled turning block anchored to the deck rail to allow me to temporarily (until I cleat-ed it) take the furling line to my port winch, or to my powered cabin-top winch which gave me a nice even and snug genoa wrap. Ship shape. :-)

An easy fix! Great idea and so simple too.

Subject: Re: [Catalina 355:3734] change furling line from port to starboard?
I have same problem with my dock being on the port side. My solution was when at the dock to secure the furling line on the midship cleat, then just let the limp line lay in board of the genoa track. Seems to work well, as there is nothing to really trip over while boarding.

Yep, that's the way I did mine, too.
