This is terrific! Thank you Lisa and Diane.
A really helpful tool for keeping all of your manuals on your laptop and tablet is a product called Evernote—it’s free and I have no affiliation. It allows you to quickly store anything including all of your manuals on your devices and sync them automatically. With this pdf, I now have every manual for all of the systems and components on both my tablet and laptop.
You will find the manuals for items like the Selden/Furlex rig, all Raymarine instruments, and most importantly, the Yanmar Service manual at the respective web sites. Once you download to Evernote, you will have a ‘notebook’ of every manual you may need—much easier than keeping the hard copy on board….

Hi Steve,
Had the same problem with this particular download. Two ways to try: Download the PDF to your PC/laptop, then synch. I initially had a problem with this, so I went back to the iPad and when it opened in Safari, I hit the ‘email’ option and sent it to the Evernote email address you get when you install Evernote. Saved it as a ‘clip’ and then synched to my laptop. That worked. Not sure why this particular pdf didn’t drop right in.
Another really useful feature with EN is you can also store related photos. I have a bunch of photos of some of my boat projects which are now conveniently stored in the same place…hope this helps, but if not, let me know….
Regards,
Jon

Here's some basic info on another alternative - setting up a free wiki site on google sites.
https://www.lessannoyingcrm.com/blog/2010/08/151/Set+up+a+wiki+to+keep+your+team+organized
And a short tutorial how to set up a site....
https://www.lessannoyingcrm.com/blog/2010/08/155/Tutorial%3A+Create+a+Wiki+in+Google+Sites
That would be a much better and more usable way to post edit content like user notes on their systems, or mods, or updates to the manual...
Cheers
