Import file CSV

Ive been recording EEG in a bioradio system. When i export the data is only possible to get in CSV format (either in comma or tab). How could I import the data in Cartool, is there any way?

Hey Hector,

You can only import brainvision files (.vhdr) and Simple Eeg Format in cartool (.sef) .
Best solution would be to convert your file to one of those format. I think simpler would be .sef
In cartool, under help --> Cartool reference guide --> Appendixes --> Cartool File format --> sef you can have an overview of how such a file is written to disk.

If you're no able to write such  a converter, I could have a look to write one in python if you provide me an exemple file

I made a mistake in my last answer, In cartool, under help --> Cartool reference guide --> Appendixes --> Files handled by Cartool there is additional options to import EEG files. Unfortunatly, there is no option for CSV files, but perhaps you can convert your csv to one of these format.

Can you provide an exemple file so I can see how data is organized in the your CSV ? ( empty room data or whatever if you can't share real data)

I can try to write a small script for you. Are you familiar with python ?
