Sorry that is really weird.   It shouldnt mention anything about the Amazon App sore....  I'm pretty surprised to hear that.    I vaguely recall doing some adjustments to make carcast run correctly on amazon tablets... but there is no reason it should require the amazon app store.

I recommend you just download plain carcast from the Play web store (I think it is slightly newer) and see if that works for you.

Note that amazon recently decommissioned Amazon Underground, not sure if that has an impact here.  Honestly I'm not sure how to download my amazon apps any more.

Not sure if CC was ever listed on the amazon appstore, but if it was, consider uninstalling that and installing from the play store.

Yes, it was on the amazon app store.   I thought that was fun to try, and would make it easier for Amazon tablet users.
