CARC Field Day

Hello,

Field Day is coming soon. I am coordinating Field Day activities for the club. I am looking for volunteers to help with setup of equipment, antennas etc. Also, if someone has a diagram of last year's setup that would be a great help. We need a volunteer cook and cooking equipment. We want to do a VE Test also. 

I am open to any and all suggestions for this event.

Hi Dave,

I will be able to help with set-up. I will need some help bringing out the trailer because I will be bringing out my camper as well. I do have some cooking equipment that I can bring. I will be bringing out a couple generators that can be used. I also have a 12'X20' canopy and a few folding tables and chairs. If you think of anything else that we might need, let me know.

Thanks, can an F150 pull the trailer? If so, I can do that. I have a 10x10 canopy and a table also.

VE Test is scheduled and has already been posted on the web site. I've set it for 2:00pm on Saturday. Just need a location. And, if that time needs to shift an hour or two one way or the other, can be done. Just let me know before we get registrations from candidates.

Just need commitments from the VEs that aren't busy doing other things to be on hand for the the session and we're golden

Dave, Let's plan to have a big talk at our next meeting on the 20th at the senior center at 7:00 P.M.

We will talk about the food and people to help set up. We will need to decide what antennas we will be using and our radios. if you you like to meet at the fairgrounds to go over a layout we can do that as well.
