Weekend Workshop - Winlink Basics

Is anyone interested in a short class on Winlink this Saturday at noon for a few hours?  Location would be near the corner of E 15th and Missouri.  This would be limited to four or five people.

The goal would be to introduce Winlink, get it installed on peoples' laptops, and get them working on telnet.  If people have VHF radios and digital setups, we could work on getting them going as well.

Topics:

- Winlink installation

- WInlink account setups

- Sending text messages

- Sending messages from templates

- Sending messages using VHF (packet or VARA FM)

What people would bring:

- Windows laptop

- Any VHF radios and digital equipment you want to try (I will have some that people can borrow as well)

Please let me know by the end of today if you are interested.  If there's interest for a later date, we can try something in October.
