Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well and getting ready for the 250th celebration of U.S. Independence this weekend.

To give everyone enough notice, weather permitting, we’re planning to pull out both gliders (the 1-26 and 2-33) and fly the following weekend on Saturday, July 11. We plan to start early (8:00 or 9:00 am) so we can get everyone current and offer some rides before the winds pick up and the thermals start popping. If anyone wants to fly in the afternoon for some thermalling and longer flights, we’ll try to accommodate that as well.

We’ll have two instructors on the field. If anyone is available to tow, please let me know. Skip, if you can come down and help with safety duties, that would be great.

It’s been a while since we last flew, so let’s stay sharp. Remember: Everyone is a safety officer. If you see something, say something.

Thanks,

Jarrett Steiwig

I forgot to mention that we will be flying out of the Littlefield airport (KLIU).
