Generic RPC interfaces for Java

I've been putting off s extending my Java RPC implementation to support generics, because generating the appropriate Java source code with capnpc-java is getting somewhat hairy.

I was wondering if it would be easier to use some pre-existing Java source code generator (probably written in Java) to do the donkey work of rendering the output? It should be possible to use capnpc-java to bootstrap a pure Java compiler stage...

Does anybody have recommendations on suitable Java code generators?
