Hello,

I'm using Capistrano 3 and I'm looking for a way to deploy my pre-compile css (sass).
I have a git repository without css, but sass files : to have an available website, i need to compile saas file to generate css files.
My problematic is that I don't want that the webservers compile that files, but on the deployment server directly (local).
Is it possible to do this with Capistrano ? I saw the "run_locally" but I thing it's not appropriate for my case.

Thanks for your help,

Hi John,

Sounds like a task for Rake+SSHKit. This is documented (for Chef, but the concept is identical) in an old blog post of mine http://lee.hambley.name/2013/06/11/using-capistrano-v3-with-chef.html
