This "Petition to Commemorate 8th Street as the First Bike Lane in the United States" is actually an ignorant, disingenuous, and obviscated effort seeking to force the imposition of a Class IV Separated Bikeway on a Davis, CA street by pushing to "Install physical protectors to bring the original 1967 paint-only delineations in-line with 2026 design standards for class II physically buffered bike lanes that are now installed routinely in California cities."

There are no such things as "class II physically buffered bike lanes" unless someone considers a painted buffer a physical buffer.

CABO will not be signing this petition.
