Hi, All.

It would be great if Zayin19 and parents could reconnect at the service/potluck. It is always so crowded---Do we want to try to aim for a certain part of the church when the doors open to try to find some seats together?

Also, so far the weather is supposed to be sunny. What if we all brought our plates outside to picnic after the service? That would give us more room to gather, schmooze, play. Does that appeal?

Last, I want to invite everybody to brunch Sunday, October 20. I saw some notice about a BWC member orientation that day, though, and haven't been able to figure out exactly what time it is or what it's about. I wondered if a brunch at the new building could be an option that day. Does anyone have any intel?

Looking forward to seeing you soon,
Laura

thanks everyone who responded so quickly. So far we have Jonas, Jasper, Reuben, Jay, and possibly Owen.
Still need to hear about Phin, Sophia, Noah, Lucas and Jake.

Actually to clarify I could take him, but would have to step out at 11 to take a call. So if someone could bring him back for me, or let me know when done (and have him stay with you until the end)(I could take call nearby from my car), that would help and let Owen join.

Thanks
Kristin

Dear Parents:

Happy Fall!
As most of you probably know, every year at the BWC Rosh Hashanah service (on Monday Sept 30), the recent shule graduates have a reading. It is the candle lighting and shehekeyanu.
Can you please let me know if your young person will be at the service. Some of the lines are in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino, in addition to English. I would like to get the parts assigned and out to you to practice.

I have attached the reading--it is all of page 5 and part of page 6
Please respond to this email by this Monday so I can make the assignments, and let me know if your young person can handle a different language.
Thanks so much,
Jenny

Will miss you, Betsy! As for the potluck: I think we'll probably hang inside as usual, because we have Eli's class, too. But will be great to see everyone.

We unfortunately aren’t going to be able to get there after all. Last minute change of plans to go to my parents in NH.
