Namaskāraḥ to all respected scholars,

I recently came across a book titled Gotra-Pravara-mañjarī authored by Purushottam Pandit. In this work, he references the views of sages Kātyāyana and Baudhāyana to establish that the sage Mārkaṇḍeya gotra belongs to the Bhṛgu gotra. He further mentions that the associated Pravara is Pañcārṣeya, consisting of: Bhārgava–Cyāvana–Āpnava–Aurva–Jāmadagnya.

However, I have been unable to locate the sūtras, śākhā and veda associated with this Gotra . I would be most grateful if someone could kindly assist me in identifying this..

This Pancharsheya is the same as for Srivatsa Gotra . Many Gotras are only Trayarsheya .

This brings additional question, can two gotras have exact same set of Rishis.
