Pranaams to all,

The biggest show on Advaita in recent times is getting underway next week at Veliyanad, Kerala.

Attached is the schedule of speakers and sessions for the three days.

Deep gratitude to the entire team at Chinmaya for their prompt responses and warm hospitality.

Also a big thank you to our very own Dr Nagraj Paturiji who has worked tirelessly in putting together this conference along with the young and dynamic Tulasi Kumar Joshi from Chinmaya.

Look forward to welcoming you all to this unique conference.

Regards

Hari

Very nice program. One small comment. The organizers should have given time for Sayam Sandhyavandana in the schedule. They cannot expect followers of Varnashrama Dharma to go directly to dinner in the evening without performing Sayam Sandhya.  In many Goshthis I have seen they make time for Sayam Sandhya and then continue.

I think there is free time between 5 and 6 in the evening. One can perform Sandhya around 5-45 p.m. and join the rest at 6. It is not difficult. Even if some session were to be on, it is not difficult to  snatch some time in between and perform one's own duties. Nobody is going to question it. It is all the more easier in an ashram like atmosphere in Sri Sankara Nilayam.

In the Mahaganapathy Vakyartha sadas in Sringeri, the session starts at 4 PM and ends after 8 PM. During the sandhya time many scholars go out leaving the assembly even as it is in session. After finishing sandhya they return to the assembly.

It is not correct to keep any session during Sandhya time. Why should people made to leave the session and come back after some time? They may miss some important points in the Vakyartha Sadas when they are absent. Why create this problem? There should be an interval of 20-30 minutes. The others may say they can do Sandhya after 8 PM also, But better to do it at the correct time. Sandhya after stars have appeared is inferior Sandhya.
