I face a problem in Shodhganga.

If a book/thesis has 12 chapters,
I need to download 12 times - chapter by chapter.
Again, one gets no easy/clear indication as to the title of the thesis/chapter etc: why?
Why are we not allowed to download in a single stroke?

Or am I missing some proper method?

Sir,

AFAIK, there is no option to download thesis as a single file, unless someone creates a software for the purpose. I guess the present arrangement at Shodhganga could be a deliberate measure to dissuade bulk downloads.

Professor Kannan, you have every reason to rejoice.
While you are facing the tiresome problem of having to download 12 files, at least you picked a day when the Shodhganga servers were working at all.
This in itself is cause for celebration.

The only thing that can stand as a match is
the horrible spelling errors in DLI scans!
To cite but one:
Bakkopadi stands for Vakyapadiya!
Numerous hilarious instances.

Somebody could make a vast catalogue out of it,
and prepare a (mis)match table!

Such instances are common in Tamil where Sanskrit terms are rendered. Here is an example of the name of the text 'दृग्दृश्यविवेकः' rendered as 'thirukku thirusiya vivekam' (திருக்கு திருசிய விவேகம்) from the Ramanasram.

<<Bakkopadi stands for Vakyapadiya!>>

"V" is always pronounced as "B" in Bengali/ Oriya. Vidyaa is pronounced "biddaa" in Bengali. So, I hope, such distorted spelling might have come from that area.

A Bengali style of pronunciation
& a Tamil style of spelling
by the dictator and the dictated
would indeed be a deadly combination!
