नमांसि ।
I am writing to inquire about the sphatika shila (representing Surya) in the Pancayatana that is maintained by those in the Smarta sampradaya.
As far as I understand (with the limited research I have done), the shila is found in the Vallam River in Tamil Nadu. However, I am unable to actually locate where this river is at present, leading me to question whether it has dried up.
Would any of the vidvans be so kind as to guide me on whether this sphatika shila for the Pancayatana, representing Surya, is still obtainable, and regarding the status of the river that is its source?
