Dear Sri Deshpande Ji, the verse you have written:

द्वैताद्वैतविवादेषु विवदन्तां मुधा बुधा: ।
विरामो यत्र वादानां रमते तत्र माधव: ।। ।

reminds me of

 "indriyani parany ahur
indriyebhyah param manah
manasas tu para buddhir
yo buddheh paratas tu sah"

Hence my understanding of the second sentence:

विरामो यत्र वादानां रमते तत्र माधव:
is

"He is beyond logic or intellect (buddhi), only when logic ends, Madhava can be realized! (yoginAm hridaye ramate)

Even in Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's (SRP's) discussion with Master M,
when Master M says "now I know why God gave intellect to people", SRP asks Master M, " why did God give people intellect?".
Then M said: "to realize that in spite of any amount of intellectual reasoning, God cannot be known through intellect since God is beyond intellect". Then SRP agreed that "yes, now you have understood".
This thought reverberates in the Upanishads in several places for example

 Best Regards,

Krishna Kashyap

Very nice. It reminds one of a short dialogue with Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi:  A scholar submitted this question to Ramana: which is  correct, the pratibimba vada or the avaccheda vaada? The reply he got was: Giving up all vaada-s is the right thing.

This merits some clarification. It's not meant that slack reasoning or no reasoning is to be imposed as the 'right thing' on everyone. For a person whose natural inclination is attempting to understand by reason, the course of action is to fully devote himself to this task. If/when it's seen firsthand that reason isn't enough, the drive to reason everything out falls away by itself. This doesn't mean that from that point onward one stops all reasoning, it's just that reason as a human facility is allocated tasks it can manage. And until that realisation comes, one can just say, I'm trying but I don't know yet. We've got to take responsibility and not try to trick ourselves, even if nobody is watching.

Abandon all debates and be devoted to Krishna, O Madhava.  Find Krishna in Gokula.  What will you gain by the debates?

What you say is not denied.  In fact Ramana has himself given a lot of analogies to convey many things pertaining to Atma sadhana.  The particular incident that is reported is just to remove the idea that 'an analogy, a construct, etc. could be made part of the goal the realization of which requires those analogies, etc.'  There is this statement in the Panchadashi:

ग्रन्थमभ्यस्य मेधावी ज्ञानविज्ञानतत्परः ।
पलालमिव धान्यार्थी त्यजेद्ग्रन्थमशेषतः ॥ ४५॥ 4.45

After having studied the books, the one who is focused on knowledge and experience (vijnana), let him give up the books completely, just as one would the husk after obtaining the grain.

Even here it is the spirit that is to be taken.

Here, the word “pushti” is a reference to the concept in Pushtimarga.
