October 2022 update

Here is the latest from the Reading Buses group of companies.
Reading Buses
314 gained Reading Buses training vinyls on base red livery on 13 October.
416 returned from repaint into pink 22/25 orbits livery on 12 October, ex pink routes, returning to service on 13th.
417 went away for repaint into pink 22/25 orbits livery on 2 October, ex pink routes, returning on 28th and returning to service on 4th November.
431 went away for repaint into lime orbits livery on 12 October.
432 went away for repaint into lime orbits livery on 28 October.
680 went on loan to Thames Valley Buses on 29 October. 182 will return to more regular use in the interim.
757 was damaged by fire debris at Slough bus station in the early hours of 29 October, and is expected to be repaired.
357 and 809 remain on site withdrawn.
701 remains away at Scania for warranty repairs, and 703 remains on site waiting to go.
Former 24-26 YN17 ONJ/K/L arrived on site from Diamond / Midland Classic on 29 October for storage, pending a decision about their future. The other three 21-23 that were sold at the same time are not expected.
Thames Valley Buses
451/4 departed storage in Reading for Dawson Rentals on 19 October.
667 was destroyed by fire at Slough bus station in the early hours of 29 October.
671 and 677 were damaged by fire debris at Slough bus station in the early hours of 29 October, and are expected to be repaired.
680 came in on loan from Reading Buses on 29 October.
Withdrawn 457 remains in store at Reading, pending disposal.
Newbury & District
New is Volvo B11R / Plaxton Panther 3 ME69 MPT, fleet number 1421, C49Ft acquired through Odyssey (dealer) ex MP Travel. It arrived on 6 October in plain white, and received N&D coach livery on 14 October.
1419 was returned to Dawson Rentals on 7 October following the loss of school contracts in July.
1402 will shortly be withdrawn for disposal following the arrival of 1421.
1407 and 1409 remain withdrawn pending disposal (1407 in Reading and 1409 in Greenham).

There is a correction to the repaint fleet numbers below which should read 432 and 433 instead of 431 and 432.
