Sounds fun to me.   I don't have capacity to organize yet would try to attend.

Looks to be a productive season for tree crops this year.

Wishing you all well

Sounds fun. I'd be interested.  My weekends for fall are filling up though, so knowing the date well in advance would help me be able to attend.  Thanks for offering to organize this, Randal!

Hello all,

I am a new member of the group but have lived in the area since 2012. I would also love to meet up and get to know folks!

I do not have a good place to host but am happy to help with getting this going. Randal, I can give you a call sometime Monday/Tuesday to see how I can help.

Hello All,

I can host!

I have a mildly sloped area to park, 2 carports in case of rain, a forest farm project starting ( Catalyzing Agroforestry Grant in process), a small muscadine vineyard and a tissue culture lab in which the forestry grant just supported with new lab equipment. Ramin S. has been planting some of my trees out and he could possibly share on that.

Is everything I have perfect? No! But a lot of my "home work" is moonlighting! I have a full time garden business that is my day job. But I can share what I have been able to accomplish and look forward to hearing what others have in mind.

I like to cook and have a canning kitchen in my lower level so we could have a meal. "Stone Soup" style?

I also have literally hundreds of Bradford pear seedlings on my land. Dig all you like for rootstock! I need them gone! :)

Can easily set up an area for Sharing Circle. I have plants I can share!

We are In Madison County, 5 minutes from Marshall town.

I think that would be wonderful. I've only ever been peripherally involved with this group and yet it has been hugely beneficial to me, thanks y'all! Sarah

That sounds amazing, Chris! I'd love to see everything you've been working on and get some inspiration! I hope it happens on a weekend when I can make it!

Any suggestions for dates? 2nd, 3rd, 4th weekends in October are all open for me....

I like the idea of a potluck or stone soup.

Fun!
