Hi ,
I am Dinesh Kumar Sahu, a student currently in 2nd year, pursuing Bachelor of Technology with Computer Science and Engineering as major in College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubneshwar, Odisha, India. Apart from academics I have great interest in Free Software. Due to my passion towards Free Software, I have attended different seminars and conferences.Music Interests me and I try to play the guitar.  I helped organize Sigma Analytics to set up a seminar .I am working on a project named 'KAHAN' given by Ronak Kumar Samantaray .Mr,Samantaray is the cofounder of nowfloats company and also was a senior engineer at microsoft.Project is on server client communication in transferring location information .
I am also drawn to algorithmic coding contests. I  also attended ACMICPC  India in December 2013.
Proposal Detailed Description:
My aim in this project is to make 'Label the Diagram' as interactive as possible. There would be a tutorial describing what the kids would do in order to move forward. This application would be divided into 2 halves:
1)Student Section(Public)
2)Teachers Section(Password Protected)
At first there would be a page that will ask for entering a new username and password for the teacher. This can also be reset at any point of time by accessing the menu list.
In student section ,the students need to see a tutorial on what to do.Then they need to choose a section from the following:
1)Physics
2)Chemistry
3)Biology
4)Environmental Science
After choosing a section, the students would see a database of pictures from which the student has to choose one. Then he/she will be directed to a page where the background will contain the photo selected from the database. If in the middle a student feels it very difficult to solve,he/she can revert back to choose another image. The top section of the photo will contain a tab view which will contain all of the labels that has been provided by the teacher not only for this image but for all images in the database. This will have swipe functionality as in Google Play Store. After verifying the background the student will select a label and drag it to the specific area of his idea. The whole page should be divided into a numerous areas as there are the labels. On dropping the label in correct area there would be an algorithm that would start making calculations as per the correct answer. There would be 2 hints available per image .After completing all the labels the final result would be calculated and extra bonus would be awarded for minimum possible use of hints. This data would be stored in the database for the student to check his improvement and there would be an option to watch the improvement graphically.
Now moving on to the teachers section the teacher will give the password to access the section .Then the teacher will upload from gallery ,the edited image of the diagram to be labelled. This database would link to the list in student section. Whenever there is an updating of database this would reflect in the list.
In this way the teacher would have an app that will have a full functionality that is not limited to some images to be reproduced but it would have as many images as the teacher would like.

Hi Dinesh

Thanks for your introduction and sharing your thoughts.

1)Student Section(Public)
2)Teachers Section(Password Protected)

Honestly, we don't require the teachers section. The application should just contain some scientific diagrams and the allow the students to interact with it and label the diagram (as you proposed in the student section)

Please crystallise your ideas with my above input and put together a proposal :)
