Multi-room UPnP

In case its of interest this is  my set-up:

• Android phone or Chomebook (and apps from the Play store)
  • BubbleUPnP (pointing to a upmpdcli renderer. See below)  
  • M.A.L.P (optional MPD client to control MPD on Raspberry Pi 4))
  • Snapclient
• Raspberry Pi 4 with  
  • MPD (https://www.musicpd.org/) available in standard repo
  • snapserver (https://github.com/badaix/snapcast)
  • optionally snapclient (same source)
  • upmpdcli renderer (https://www.lesbonscomptes.com/upmpdcli/)
• Other snapclients (in different rooms)
  • Other Raspberry Pis(2,3 , Zero or 4) with speakers
  • Windows 10 web page pointing at the Snapserver's built-in web server Snapweb (Pointing to the Snapweb on anything with a  browser/speakers e.g Mac, Chromebook, any Linux  etc should work)

This gives perfectly synchronised sound output across all clients in multiple rooms from BubbleUPnp.

That's indeed interesting because multiroom solutions (with perfect synchronized playback) are often proprietary (Sonos, Chromecast, ...).
