A prayer request…of immediate need!
My dear lifelong friend is seriously ill and needs the support of our prayers. His name is Dr. Vincent Tuohy.
I’ve known Vin since my third year, when my parents moved two doors from his home. Tuohy was my best man to boot.
Unless you attended OLHC’s grammar school, you won’t know him, as he attended BP archrival Xavarian, but is an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan - we grew up just down the block from Mr. Gil Hodges.
At the Cleveland Clinic’ Learner Research Institute, Vin’s significant medical science contributions include a breast cancer vaccine (it addresses the disease’s most lethal form and is in FDA Phase 1 trials), an ovarian cancer vaccine (he’s readying for FDA testing), and MS research that remains globally recognized. Vin has told me his vaccine approach can be expanded to other cancers.
When you have a minute or two, your prayers would be much appreciated by his family and me. Thank you in advance for your help.

Joe,
Tuohy was in the same class as Ritchie Lara, Ann Downing, Eddie Frey, etc. He believe it was OLHC class of ’61 and know he graduated Xaverian in ’65.
Your brother might have known or have had some awareness of him from OLHC or Tuohy’s running track at Xaverian.
