Hello,
For those of our class not on Facebook, the following was recently posted by Denise Piccolo.

"It is with a very heavy heart that I share the sad news that Dan passed away last night of complications from a short battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Arrangements will be forthcoming."

I located this information when I queried Google -    https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/daniel-piccolo-obituary?id=53242940

 Rest in peace, brother Dan.

Sincerely,
Gerry

Anyone in the DMV interested in attending Dan’s funeral on Monday in York, PA can meet me at my house and I can drive.

Dan is one of the guys I haven’t seen since we graduated in  1969.

I like to say I knew him pretty well having played football and basketball with him.

He could throw a football further than anyone else I knew in High School and I’m not sure why he was never a D1 punter.

I  saw that he moved to Wellington, Florida but never got a chance to meet up with him.

It’s a bit sad that a person has to die before we learn about their life.
