I am 22 years old and I study economics. I am currently preparing for the GMAT in order to enter an economics school, but I struggle a lot to answer questions correctly, especially in quantitative and logical exercises. I believe this difficulty is strongly related to my ADD.

In fact, I have a very weak working memory honestly, comparable to that of a 10-year-old and I also have difficulty connecting ideas together, especially when reasoning through complex problems. In an IQ test, I scored 85 in the mathematics section and 120 in the verbal section.

Despite these difficulties, I am extremely motivated to improve my cognitive abilities, especially those related to the prefrontal cortex (PFC). If you have any advice, methods, or even inspiring stories that could help me, I would really appreciate it.

Hello! I built a game that will help you . Turd Turf is a brain training game that super charges your processing speed and your ability to do mental math in your head. It gets very intense. Yes, there’s 💩.

It fluctuates between 7-8 on dual, and 4-5 on triple!

first i'd like to say that this app is really good, and is truly impressive for focusing, it for me at least worked better than dual n back, i would like to point out though, that at level 5 the app began to bug, the countdown would keep on running while i finished the level, and the man would just freeze until i refreshed, wish would also stop me from reviewing or upping a level.

I think we're all dumb, honestly. The only real suggestion i can make, is to stick with it. I have a horrendous working memory as well, but i have heard of people who have stuck with Dual N Back for 3 years straight, and have achieved great gains in their working memory and intelligence.

So, i guess its not like the insta-salespitches that the Dual N Back companies were initially saying, such as "gain 10-20 IQ points in 30 days," but its more of a long haul. You definitely can see such results over time, but its going to take a while, if youre willing to put in the effort with patient dedication.

The best method that helps, is to try to quickly replay what the last boxes and letters were in your mind, before the next one comes up, (rehearsal,) so you can keep track. But, I think this only really works for low N levels. It helps though, and you can still grow over time. Good luck!
